July 14 - on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the Constitutional Court, Chairman Farhad Abdullayev, judges and senior staff of the Secretariat arrived at the Alley of Honor and honored the memory of the national leader of our people, architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers at his grave.

The memory of the life companion of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, outstanding ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also commemorated, and flowers were laid in front of her grave.

Later, at an event held in the Constitutional Court, Chairman Farhad Abdullaev spoke about the development of the court over the past period, about the work carried out in our country in the direction of the formation and improvement of constitutional justice. The Chairman noted the importance of the Constitutional Court in ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution, reliable protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, strengthening the rule of law, and exercising constitutional review.

In his speech, it was emphasized that consistent legal reforms carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev make an important contribution to the development of the judicial and legal system in accordance with modern challenges, further strengthening legal state building and increasing the effectiveness of constitutional justice.

At the event were also discussed the development of the Constitutional Court's international relations, effective cooperation with constitutional courts of various countries and influential international organizations, as well as the work done to study advanced practices in the field of constitutional law.

Then the relevant certificates were handed over to the senior staff of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court, who were awarded qualification degrees for effective work in the civil service by the corresponding Decree of President Ilham Aliyev.

Chairman Farhad Abdullayev expressed his deep gratitude to the Honorable President Mr. Ilham Aliyev for the high appreciation given to the work of the employees of the Constitutional Court, noting that this high trust is an important incentive for them to work with great responsibility and dedication in their future activities for the further strengthening of our statehood.

At the end of the event, the presentation of the "Digital System of the Constitutional Court Based on Artificial Intelligence" took place. The presentation provides detailed information on the possibilities of using artificial intelligence technologies in the work of the Constitutional Court, digitalization of judicial activities, ensuring prompt access to information, systematizing judicial practice and accelerating processes in the field of constitutional justice. The main functions of the system were demonstrated, it was emphasized that digital technologies and artificial intelligence solutions will play an important role in further increasing the efficiency of the Constitutional Court, analyzing decisions and more flexible legal research.
